- understand business direction and needs- review existing workforce and identify gaps/needs- create workforce plan(s)- write position description and establish KPI's- create ad and key selection criteria- create short list for phone interview- conduct phone screening- create short list for first round interview- conduct first round interviews- review referees- undertake personality and aptitude assessment(s)- conduct second round interviews- help make final decision and offer role- create Letter of Offer, employment contracts and pre employment packs
d) On boarding (Induction Training)
- create excellent 'on boarding' programs designed to inspire, provide direction, set expectations etc- help deliver those programs
e) Talent/Performance Management
- Building a program to enhance performance- Implement a process for performance review and assessment- Making use of the results- Understand flight risks- Build succession plans
f) Training and Development
- Training Needs Analysis- Build Training & Development Program - help you take advantage of government funded training- 'Excelerate Time Management and Productivity'Workshop- 'Excelerate Sales' Training and Coaching- 'Leadwise' Programs - Enhance and Build Leadership Capacity- Training and Coaching
g) Industrial & Employee Relations
- Assist with handling day to day people issues legally and fairly- Assist with all levels of performance counselling- Draft appropriate letters addressing specific areas of concern e.g.warning letters- Draft employment contracts, letter of offers, IFA's
h) Compensation & Rewards
- Annual National Minimum Wage and Awards Reconciliation- Conduct Annual Compensation Review
i) Workplace (Occupational) Health & Safety
- OHS Audits- Understanding your obligations- OHS Induction Training Program- Risk and Hazard Assessments
j) HR Metrics
- Assist in setting useful and appropriate Hr Metrics e.g. headcount, turnover, absenteeism & strategies for preventing or addressing issues as they arise- Provision of a simple HR Database designed to be 'one version of the truth'
k) Exit-Termination
- Assist in exiting people from the business fairly, legally and with dignity and respect

- Assist in building fair, legal and effective, user friendly HR policy and procedures
